About the Role:
We’re looking for a Project Estimator with strong organizational and communication skills to support our Southern California Operations Team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for projects involving custom graphics, signage, digital displays, promotional goods, and installation services.
You’ll work closely with clients, sales, production, and vendor partners to ensure each project quote is accurate, profitable, and aligned with design intent. The ideal candidate has prior experience in print production, signage, fabrication, or a related estimating role and enjoys managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for client quote requests.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and artwork to develop detailed estimates.
- Prepare cost breakdowns and proposals using Excel and estimating platforms (MFG or similar).
- Collaborate with sales, project coordinators, and production teams to confirm materials, timelines, and pricing.
- Source quotes from approved vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Track quote status and follow up with clients and internal teams.
- Create and issue work orders for production once projects are awarded.
- Maintain accurate client and project data within the CRM (HubSpot).
- Support accounting with cost verification and documentation for billing.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and client experience.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in estimating, project coordination, or production support within signage, graphics, print, or visual display manufacturing (required).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (cost templates, formulas, analysis).
- Experience using estimating or production management software (MFG, PrintIQ, PACE, or similar).
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot.
- Strong math, communication, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
