Quality Assurance Quality Control for Food Manufacture
8-10 hour shifts
Roles and Responsibilities
- Knowledge of food safety is preferred
- Have excellent listening and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work based on urgency, efficiency, and other
- factors
- Food industry experience is valued, but not required
- Conduct assessments that measure conformity to established regulatory,
- industry, and proprietary brand standards for clients
- Observe food prep and cooking standards to ensure food safety, health, and
- sanitation practices
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment; knowledgeable and
- experienced in general food safety programs and policies – including government
- regulations, FDA, USDA, AIB, HACCP, GMP, and Allergen Program Preferred
- Supports completion and filing of documentation, including but not limited to
- ingredients and finished product
- Compliance to GMP, Food Safety, Food Defense, and Food Quality regulations
- as required by the company, customers, and/or government legislation, including
- timely communication to appropriate facility management of any non-conformity
- issues or violations found
