We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated technician with experience in low voltage technician, Access Control, Telephone Entry, and Automated Gate Operator systems. This position involves both technical support and hands-on service and installation, requiring strong troubleshooting skills, professionalism, and customer-facing experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical phone support to dealers, distributors, and end users
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to gate and access control systems
- Support installation efforts and provide setup guidance to dealers
- Assist walk-in customers with product questions and replacement parts (Will Call department)
- Document all customer interactions and technical issues in the Tech Ticket system
- Research Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPB) and recommend replacement parts
- Collaborate with Engineering to investigate recurring technical problems
- Provide internal product support to other departments
Qualifications:
- Experience installing and servicing Automated Gate Operator Systems
- Experience installing and servicing Telephone Entry and Access Control Systems
- Strong basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and low-voltage systems
- Basic computer proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows OS
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and perform basic electronic/mechanical troubleshooting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Low Voltage technician
- Access Control & Gate Systems Technician position but not mandatory.
